Bios

Meredith Lohr
Meredith is a co-Founder and Principal at Sound Footprint. Before forming Sound Footprint in 2008, Meredith served as a sustainability consultant for Bertschi School in Seattle, coordinating their Green Team and curriculum integration activities. Meredith was the Executive Director and later a member of the Board of Directors of the Homewaters Project, a not-for-profit environmental education organization. For many years, she taught Earth and Environmental Science at North Seattle Community College, and trained K-12 teachers in inquiry-based science. Meredith has a B.S. from the Evergreen State College and an M.S. in Earth Sciences from the University of California, Santa Cruz. She graduated from an independent school for girls in Baltimore, Maryland. Meredith enjoys music, dancing, and exploring the wilds of the Pacific Northwest with her family.

Kim Armstrong
Kim is a co-Founder and Principal at Sound Footprint. She has 15 years experience as a strategy consultant working with over 50 diverse organizations to implement business-wide goals. Kim was a management consultant for two multinational firms, Accenture and Arthur D. Little. In this role, she promoted transformational change and established "Learning Organizations" for her clients. Prior to co-founding Sound Footprint, Kim owned and operated a socially responsible business supporting women working in fair-trade, cooperative groups in Vietnam. Kim was the chair of the first sustainability committee at her children’s school. Kim holds a B.A. from Vanderbilt University and an M.B.A. from New York University. She has lived and worked in Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia and North America. Kim enjoys cooking, yoga, and outdoor adventures with her husband and three children.

Rebecca Meredith
Becca is the Program Coordinator at Sound Footprint. She recently completed internships with The Nature Conservancy as a data analyst and with Sound Footprint as a project administrator. Becca’s experience includes research, grant writing, event organization, and she has co-authored several scientific publications. She has B.S. in Biology from Western Washington University and a Master’s in Ecology from the University in Munich, Germany. Becca is a Seattle native who is interested in biking, travel, and advocating for sustainability in her community.
